Teacher Training in person from the nine-day in-person training took place across three locations: Bologna and Bussolengo in Italy, and Coburg in Germany. From 15–18 July in Bologna, participants engaged with researchers and professors at the University of Bologna, visiting several institutes and facilities, including the Experimental Teaching Centre of Cadriano, the Institute of Agricultural Mechanics, and IZSLER. Activities included laboratory and fieldwork, lectures in entomology, fungal detection training, and visits to the university’s vertical farming and greenhouse facilities.
From 19–21 July, training continued at Immersive Parks – Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo through educational activities.
The final stage in Coburg focused on academic collaboration among consortium partners. Discussions centered on developing a Master’s Programme in Sustainable Agriculture, Livestock Farming, and Conservation, while partners presented existing academic programmes, including the University of Seychelles’ Environmental Sciences degree and SIAH’s diploma programmes in sustainable agriculture.
